We went to the pediatrician today. He's 17 lbs and 1 oz and 26 inches tall. He's in about the 6th percentile for his age. He's a very healthy and happy little guy and we're so glad he's our's.
Matt now:
- Has two teeth (and is working on more)
- Crawls
- Pulls up to stand
- Claps his hands
- Drinks from a straw
- Steals stuff from other kids at Church.
What's that? You need me to elaborate on that last one? Well, if you say so.
At Church on Sunday, Matt was being very wiggly in Sacrament Meeting, so we went into the hall to get some energy out. As usual, there were other mommies and daddies with their child/children out, too. Matt was happily crawling about when Austin and Austin's Daddy came out. Austin is about a year old and in about the 90th percentile for his age. (He's A LOT bigger than Matt is.) Austin's Daddy set Austin on the floor to play. Austin was feeling grumpy and shy so he didn't go anywhere, he just sat. And then Matt came along. Without pausing, Matt crawled right up to Austin and yanked out Austin's bink. That's right. My son is a binky thief. The kicker, Matt already had a bink in his mouth at the time of the larceny. He was just stealing for fun.
